Partners and Supporters

ASA is only able to realize its aims thanks to partners who co-finance and support the program or carry out direct activities with ASA. ASA has many dedicated and supportive partner organizations in Africa, Asia, Latin America and Southeast Europe. These organizations in the host countries are named in the annual project catalog where you can also find detailed descriptions. If you want to become a partner organization, please have a look here. ASA is also a cooperation partner of the European network GLEN.

Financing

In 2010, ASA was financed by the Federal Ministry of Economic Co-operation and Development, the Federal States of Bavaria, Berlin, Bremen, Hamburg, North Rhine-Westphalia, Rhineland-Palatinate, DEZA (Switzerland), LED (Liechtenstein), the Franco-German Youth Office, the Czech-German Fund for the Future, the German Speaking Community in Belgium, and other European organizations and institutions.

The ASA-Program is part of ENGAGEMENT-GLOBAL and is mostly financed by the German Ministry of Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ). It is a politically independent and non-profit organization.
